You have reached one of the most popular coarse and trout fishing clubs in the region offering fishing on three lakes and three rivers.

For over 70 years we have remained a not for profit organisation offering fishing for people at affordable prices. We can provide free help for beginners, and even free loan of tackle to get people started.

The Society is in many ways unique. It was founded in 1952 by a group of game fishermen who set out to build a club that offered high quality game fishing, then usually reserved for those of some social status, but also made it available at low cost to the wider community in Monmouth. We continue with this ideal, but now of course, not just for local anglers.
