CSOs or sewage pollution in our rivers.

Is your river clean?
Well the Wye is a lot cleaner than some rivers in the UK but this does this make it ok?
You can now track CSOs ( combined sewage overflows) all over the UK now on this website. Well what they own up to.
But this does not include pollution from agricultural origins or what enters the Wye from the hundreds of similar outlets further upstream or from heavily polluted tributaries like the Garren Brook. It is just a tiny part of the story but at least with the water authorities being forced into making these declarations, this it is a start.

Check out your local river.
