Litter at Hadnock Road

Monmouth and District Angling Society has hardly ever had cause for concern over litter deliberately left on banks, until very recently.
In one swim alone, the lowest and new swim on Hadnock Road, I have twice had to remove litter and at least one other member has also removed a carrier bag full.
As all this is has occurred in one place it is highly likely that one person is responsible and regretfully could be one of our members.
This behaviour is serious breach of our rules and is could well to bring our association into disrepute. It will not be tolerated and, should we be able to identify the culprit, if a member, it could easily result in a life time ban from membership.
The person or persons responsible will know this is about them. You are not welcome on our waters.
Peter Hunt,
Chairman.
