Chemicals in pesticides are affecting our fish.

According to this latest article by AT neonicotinoids are now affecting the fish in our rivers and even, of all places, in the river Troddi.
The report does not mention our other two rivers, the Monno and the Wye but were they monitored? Apparently not, because, only when under pressure from environmental groups did the government do anything and then only instructed the EA  to carry out a pilot monitoring scheme.
It is worth noting that we are only being made aware of this because of the EU requirements in the water framework directive.

The other disturbing thing is that quite possibly, after Brexit, there will be no requirement for UK governments to even consider these things let alone take any action.
